Wonder Woman, no contest. Aquaman is good, but not good enough to be in a final! Oh well, that's how it goes.

    Marvel: Av ● C. Mar ● Hawkguy ● N.Av ● Thor ● W&XM

Had to vote Wonder Woman. As much as I love the new take and am enjoying Aquaman I think Wonder Woman is the better book.
Characters come and go, revamped and revisited. But as long as you enjoyed them, remember them and continue to appreciate them, then that character, your hero or heroine, will always exist.

    Whoa, hold up a minute!

I've just gone through all of the WW voters on the poll and I'm afraid there's a large number that have to be disqualified. So large, in fact, that I declare the actual winner of the first annual/bi-annual/semi-annual/don't-know-yet Thunderdome Championship to be...

    I kid.

Wonder Woman wins by 19 votes. Congrats!

It is true: the best book has become the victor.

    Great game one and all!

Won, and won by a good margin. Pretty impressive, in-so-far as it goes.

It was bloody, it was brutal, it was hard. We fought owls and animals and fishes, but at the end, everything was right in the world.

    You're a wonder, Wonder Woman.

Well, I probably would have prefered Batman as the overall winner, but I'm certainly not going to complain with the victory going to Wonder Woman.

(By the way, any plans to revist this in maybe six months or so after the Second Wave books have had a chance to establish themselves a little? )

Why is it "Bizarro"? Because a book you like didn't win?

You make an accusation like that, and you got some 'splainin to do!

Let me put it this way: two years ago, if somebody told me that a playoff forum poll for the two most popular books in the DC universe would come down to a choice between Aquaman and Wonder Woman......
Superhero comic books only become art to the extent that their banal, unrealistic fantasy and garish styles go too far and become interesting. Attempts to ground them in reality can only ruin them.

    WOOOOO!!!!
All stories are imaginary, so you get to decide what's important and what isn't. Continuity is fluid.

Exactly - this is where my "Bizarro" comment came from. It's funny that it came down to these two titles/characters.
