Default New 52 Thunderdome Grand Final - Aquaman vs Wonder Woman

    It's Grand Final time!

See this thread for the full story or just vote for the book you like best.

*** Clarification of the new voting requirements forced by the Round 2 BoP vs Red Hood match-up - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

To have your vote count, you must observe the following:

    - If you have registered at CBR during or after April 2012, you must have some sort of legitimate posting history. From here on out, this will be regarded as a minimum 3 posts by the end of the voting period for that poll. A single post of "Go Title X!" will no longer be deemed sufficient for your vote to count. This is not a difficult requirement!

    - The votes of posters who make abusive comments to specific individuals or the forum in general will not count. The votes of spammers will also not count.

Also, in the event of a tie at the conclusion of the 2 day voting period, I will determine the winner of the poll with my own deciding vote.

I think it's awesome that the two least likely Superfriends would be in the final two.

I love both of these comics.

Both good books, but I'll go with Wonder Woman. Johns is doing good stuff with Aquaman, but Wonder Woman is, to me, the more interesting book of the two at the moment. However, no matter who wins this round, it'll be a book deserving of the top spot. No bad options here.

I can't believe Aquaman made it this far. The book is written with corny inside jokes and typical Johns-tropes.

Well, the book has seemed to resonate with a great many people here.

Johns eased up on the corny jokes after the first couple of issues. I'm not saying it's an amazing book, but it has improved since it started.

They are corny, yes, but they are exactly the type of jokes non-comic readers who have heard of Aquaman have been making for years though. It's not uncommon (they have made fun of Aquaman quite a few times on Family Guy) and people really DO think this way. I think they would if he were real too, especially on the internet, as people love putting celebrities/personalities/heroes on blast.

It is a well written book, and it is the kind of story that Johns excels at, but there's nothing wrong with that.
    Top DC: Wonder Woman
    Top Marvel: Hawkeye
