You'll always be "Sir Tim", at least a little, to me... Just as Typo Lad is still Kid Yoda!
For what's it's worth, I always pictured a Sir Tim Drake as some kind of knight of the Round Table, and not as a Chuck Dixon Robin!

I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.

Of course, the true aggrieved party here isn't Chuck Dixon (of whom I also have only the most rudimentary grasp ... apparently, from the comments here & elsewhere, it's better that way) but Mr. King, who's no longer the only Aaron K. in our ranks.

Does anyone know what the user name "Dan Bailey" is a reference to?
They're scientists, Allan. They know what they're doing.

My response to "who is Tim Drake, anyway?" was along these lines -
He's Batman's Robin.
No, not that one.
No, not that one either, another one.
And the username "Dan Bailey" would be a spoonerism for "ban daily".

Thanks. I thought it was some Image character. I think Rob Liefield drew him.

What an interesting place Tacoma must be; longtime denizens of the burg use the term "slabbing" as code for "the practice of demonstrating remarkable & outstanding erudition, to the wonderment & universal admiration of all, via posts on a comic book message board, all the while displaying exceptional modesty." Who knew?

"Slab" could be the name of a Liefeld character. Perhaps, along with 10.0, NearMint, and The Collector's Item, he could be a founding member of The Fanboys.
All drawn with blimplike thighs, no feet, and trillions of scratchy lines "all o-ver their bawdies," as Jonathan Winters used to say.

Slabber is an X-Men. He just defeated Bag and Boarder in AvX.
Sir Tim Drake ! That thread name sure caught my eye. Was afraid you were leaving or something.
Well, Aaron it is.
