So, i wouldnt say i was excited about any of this stuff, but i did vote for night of the owls. Even to that extant im only really all that excited about the Red Hood tie in. I believ there is supposed to be some interaction with Tim Drake, and want to see how that foez. If i was getting Animal man i would probably have voted for that, because Swanmpthing frigging rocks.

    Don't doubt the OP.
It won't be a prelude if they don't put the banner on it. They've done it with the Culling and Night of Owl preludes. So we'll have to wait and see.

I'm looking forward to Earth-2 and Worlds' Finest so I voted Second Wave. Night of the Owls should be fun (I've been reading most of the Bat-books anyway). Definitely not interested in the Failstorm/JLI crossover - JLI is fun but I can't stand what they've done to Ronnie and Jason.
Anyone who thinks DC is bringing back the Silver Age doesn't know what the Silver Age is.

There is no such word as "persay," it's per se, two words, from the Latin.

    Aquaman and Dial H

I may pick up world's finest and Lemire's JL Dark... Although the first 4 issues of JL Dark were lame imo

Even though I'm only excited for Dial H and Batman, Inc, I had to vote for the Second Wave books.

But what I'm really excited for, however, is that Deadenders is finally going to be completely collected in one volume. Still one of Brubaker's finest works (The Fall being the best).

Oooh, awesome. I hadn't heard that yet.

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."

Yeah, Amazon has it released on May 22nd, so it's probably being released on May 16th to comic shops. I'm not sure if that would be any different for the European market.

We just get everything a day later, directly imported and slightly more expensive.

I don't know if I'm "excited" about it, but I'm intrigued / curious about the Night of the Owls crossovers.

Don't read Animal Man and gave up on Swamp Thing, so that's out.

Culling may cause me to give up on Teen Titans.

Of the Second Wave books, I'm afraid to see what they've done with the JSA in Earth-2, and since I'm tired of Morrison, I don't know if I'd buy the new Batman Inc. (Also could care less about his Action Comics.)

How come Free Comic Book Day wasn't an option?

-The Night of the Owls crossover: I'm very excited to see how each of the characters involved deals with the attack and what things about those characters might be revealed as they defend their targets from the Talons.

-Second wave books: Earth 2 and World's Finest are both books that I've been looking forward for several months now and the rest of the titles might be interesting as well minus Batman Inc. which I never have had interest in.

-The Culling Crossover: A distant third. Of the three books involved I'm not reading one (Superboy), I dropped the second (Legion Lost) and the third is close to being dropped (Teen Titans). In fact this crossover is a make or break it deal with me. I stick with TT afterward if the crossover is entertaining but if it's not then I'll drop it.
Current Top Ten Comics: Earth 2, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Talon, Demon Knights, Transformers: Regeneration One, Young Avengers, Batman Beyond Unlimited, Nightwing, Flash, Aquaman

I am really stoked for a new Action Comics arc, but between Earth2, Worlds' Finest, Dial H, and Batman Inc, I don't know how I could go with anything but the Second Wave titles. I AM excited to see this Swamp Thing/Animal Man crossover, but they've been hinting at it and advertising it for so long I'm almost burned out on it already. It sorta feels like it should have already happened.

I'm ready for all this owl business to just be over. I was cool with it when it was localized to Batman, but I hate seeing other books derailed a little bit by it (like BoP, how are they really going to tie it in organically there?)

Agreed and seconded. I'm looking forward to the 2nd Action arc (more Multiversity set-up, obviously), but the 2nd wave books look amazing. I'm getting Earth 2, Worlds' Finest and Dial H.

I think that there is a lot to be excited for in May and that list covers pretty much all of it. Voted for Second Wave Books but I am also looking forward to the Night of Owls, New Action Comics arc, Swamp Thing/Animal Man (mainly the Swampy part since I don't follow Animal Man), and also Lemaire on JLD.
