When he first started doing it in his tag team, he would always do it when the ref's back was turned. That made sense. Now he just does it in front of the ref and it is NEVER

Yes, Tensai lost the spot as Cena's enforcer for not getting over, and there was nothing left in Show as a face, as they just brought Christian back as a face, so it all fits really.
They aren't totaly done with Tensai, they switched up his gimmick a little bit and changed his name sort of.

I just don't know what it is with Matt Bloom that makes WWE decide to give him stupid-ass gimmicks, over and over again. It's okay just to have a huge, ugly, nasty heel, even in this era. Whether he's dancing or trying to be Japanese, it always takes away from the positives that he brings to the table.

He's not huge enough i guess, they have much bigger guys on the roster, sort of hurts him being a big guy.
This was different in japan, where he was a big guy.

Big Show just screws up the whole scale for what constitutes a big guy. When someone's legit 6'6"/350 lbs, that shouldn't be considered run of the mill.

Also, you can't just decide that queering doesn't work without first-hand experience. Anything less would just be conjecture.

RAW was pretty shitty this week. just not much going on. swagger had a much better than usual showing though and that was nice, hope D ziggy isn't breaking away from vicky. aside from that and big johnny just being big johnny i didn't care.

Well, A-Train was pretty generic, not really a gimmick. Albert started as a gimmick, but that part of it died really quickly. It's not just WWE giving Bloom a terrible gimmick. It's that he can't seem to get over, whether by gimmick or just a generic big man.

I just don't see him being generic. He's got a distinct look and is a decent wrestler, I dont know why that's not good enough for WWE.

I assume the WWE just isn't that confident that he can get over on in-ring work alone.

A lot of the more over the top gimmicks are just initially there to get attention... wrestlers can usually be more themselves once they get rolling.

Personally, I'm not sure he can get past mid-carder. And I'm not even sure there's anything wrong with JUST being a mid-carder. Not everyone needs to be the next Taker or anything.

I think Lesnar's return kind of stole a good chunk of his thunder as well.
