True, but just to play devil's advocate, isnt a sense of fun something the Superman title has been missing? Personally, I find I enjoy Superman the most when he gets to have a little fun at the job.

Agreed. I think that's a big reason why the Action Superman is so compelling--he ENJOYS being Superman. He gets to use his powers fully (rather than always walking on egg-shells around others) and he gets to help people.

Not sure a out lobdell on superman. I like his work but not sure it would feel right to me. DC should pick up some unknown from off the indie circuit with a passion for the mos to do it. That or someone who hasn't worked kn superman before.

I would agree with Bryan Q. Miller but he's on smallville and I want him to write a zantana book.
