I don't really like how he tried to keep it from Peter, as his friend Johnny should not have kept it a secret from Peter. It feels like he's just using Pete who is a nice guy and good friend.

It's possible they could get married.

Love and hate it. It makes perfect sense(despite being a little dickish on Storm's part) but on the other hand that shadow casting itself over the spider-man mythos looms directly over anything MJ is involved in relationship-wise and spoils my ability to truly enjoy it.

Spiderman has always been about drama.
When drama can't stick, they reset. Trying to recapture that orignal "spidey" feel.
I think this plot line has tons of potiental. They should work with it. From guy to other guys, hasn't there ever been that time you were in love with "Jessie's Girl"? Espeically in those younger years?
