I do remember Justice Machine. I had the cross over with the Elementals.
Looks like a sweet comic! I'm only familiar with Gustovich's work on Avengers: The Terminatrix Agenda... which I've been meaning to reread for a while now. This article is good motivation!!! Thx :)
I have every issue of the Comico series. Loved the Justice Machine.
Batman, GL, Miss Fury, Uncanny X-Men, Hypernaturals, Witch Doctor, Casanova, Green Arrow, COPRA. +A bunch of trades every month.
I had almost forgotten about Justice Machine. I have all the Comico issues as well.
My childhood crush was Dave Cockrum' FUTURIANS
" Things are going to slide in all directions "
Leonard Cohen - The Future
I never read the original five issues or the Elementals cross-over, but I really think that Tony Isabella's run is pretty good, for what it is, and while it's certainly not his best work, I think he did a pretty good job of taking over writing someone else's characters and concepts. I think other writers on the Comico run included Doug ('Nam) Murray and Len Wein, as well as Peter B. Gillis, and while these gents were and are talented writers, the title never engaged me like the Isabella issues. If you ever see them in a box of cheap comics at a store or comic book show, you could certainly do a lot worse.
