    It's still one of my favorite issues in terms of illustration.

    LOL @ that blog. Hey, let's dissect a first page, but he doesn't even get into the typography used for the issue titling.

    I loved that issue. But the Phoenix sign is basically a flying penis. Now approaching Earth to get Hope. Yuck.

    I loved the way everyone terminated disapeared like snow angels in the floor. I think I know where he got the idea.

    There's one story in DC's Witching Hour (THE SERIES FROM THE 1960s in the first Showcase Compilation) that ends with a witch running right back 2 hell, leaving her robed silouette in the concrete floor with hell fire glow emanating, as in End of Greys.
