Earth 2 #1 Preview/Eventual Discussion

What I like about this is how it gets into the three different characters, all of them struggling in their own way, dealing with what looks like an even worse Parademon invasion. I especially liked how Superman took strength from Wonder Woman seemingly performing at her best when she's just as much crazed with grief as him.

so, this begs the question, what the hell was the point of being ambiguous about who Batman is? That answer is answered literally in the first panel haha.

Well the art is freaking amazing !!!!! So

Superman- Clark
Batman -Bruce
wonder woman -Diana

I'm ok with that . The batman image is insane

So apparently they cant be consistent with WW's colour. Is the bustier gold or silver after all?

Also, those monologues are corny and forced as hell.

How is it forced!?Also her cuffs are sliver while her chest and helmet are gold. It the same in all the preview pages. Except the cover

Because he said so. If someone calls it forced, then it is forced. Also you can't mix gold and silver. It's wrong and no one should do it or else.

Obivoulsy earth-2 is in utter chaos. Diana is the last amazon and wants avenge her sisters. Clark lost Louis and his city has been destroyed...

Yeah I think Robinson's poetic/prose dialogue works well for Shade or Starman, but not so much Superman or Batman (kind of works for Wonder Woman).

Book visually looks amazing. The inner monologue was a bit forced, but it's to at least set up what exactly happened to cause this, to give us a sense of reason for what is on the pages. For now anyway, I think it'll do. But yeah, looking forward to this.
