    Default Strongest Optimus Prime?

    Like the title says.

There's been quite a few iterations of Optimus Prime over the years since the 80's, from franchise rehashes to full-blown reboots. And that isn't including alternate timelines and parallel worlds. SO. With that in mind...

Which is the strongest Optimus Prime under Khazan conditions?

*Don't bother with weakest, because the weakest would obviously be Dead Optimus Prime.

Didn't one of them turn giant and have a punch-up with Unicron?

Technically that was Optimus Supreme, a merger of Optimus and Omega Supreme.

But yes, Optimus Supreme grew to the size of a planet and beat up Unicron.

Alrighty, but without combinations? So we can nix the Powermaster upgrades(specifically Super God Masterforce, which was Transformers on Crack...) Just Optimus himself.

Does this include guys like Optimus Primal? (Who filled a similar role in his series and had that naming scheme, but was explicitly not the same Prime.) Or just actual Prime variants?

I think he means just the Prime Variants, though Primal would make a good showing of himself in any of his forms, being nearly as strong as any of the Primes, extremely mobile, and normally has weapons out the wazoo.

I was going to say that the RID, Energon, and Cybertron Optimus' were probably the strongest in terms of sheer raw firepower, but I'm not sure they count since they normally needed to combine with their trailers or drones to access that firepower. Even then, they probably would not come to the levels of Masterforce Convoy (technically not an Optimus Prime).

That leaves the original, Animated, TF Prime, and the movie version. Movie version is the weakest of these four, as he never really defeated anyone without help or surprise. Animated is good, but lacks firepower without his wingblade upgrades. TF Prime Optimus is making a very good showing for himself, especially in the episodes were he and Megatron take on Unicron, but he needs a few more showings to surpass the original.

So, without any upgrades, the original is the best. Give all the Primes their standard equipment and no outside combinations (for example, with Wingblade or Omega Supreme), I'd say Energon Prime has the most firepower once he combines with his drones.

Note: This does not include the Japanese series, which are technically Convoy and I really don't know their feats yet.

I agree the movie version is probably the weakest, but to be fair he was straight out tearing Decepticons apart without much subtlety or "surprise".
