    Default G.I. Combat #1 Preview/Discussion SPOILERS

    http://www.aintitcool.com/node/55333

Personally, not interested in the title, but found the link and figured others would be interested, obviously. Art looks cool though.

I'm looking forward to this title. It's a trip down memory lane for me; I remember reading G.I. Combat as a kid.

Which might have set you down a very honorable career path!

And now you get two trips down memory lane for the price of one.

With some dinosaurs thrown in for good measure!

I had seen the art this penciller had done previously and I liked it, but I don't think I like what I'm seeing here. The artist was one of the things that had me interested in the book, but if I don't like the art, the book is $3.99 and I have to put up with backup stories that I don't care about, I'm likely going to pass.

The story seems interesting and the art is fantastic, this wednesday is going to be epic.

Also, why they haven't released an Earth 2 preview yet?, it's one of the most important titles of the second wave.
Comic Books are fun, Comic Book fans not so much.

depends on who they gave it to, and when that site wants to post it. I'm guessing they probably gave it to a site like USA Today, who usually posts stuff around now, give or take an hour or two.

No, because there are extra pages (a back up) included in the book written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti.

Digging that Olivetti variant! Glad they're finally advertising the backups on the cover for once too.

Only gripe is the CG-rendered vehicles and backgrounds, they don't blend as well as I imagine the artist thinks they do. But other than that I'm seriously excited, Wednesday is gonna rock...

I hope its really good and sells well enough to stay around. Its kinda hard being a guy that likes the war comics but no one else does.
