I just assume that heroes with an IQ over a cucumber would have a certain aresenal that doesn't at all require a thunderclap. Hell, they could just talk their opponents into suitable reach if possible.

I remember when the move was unique to one unique charcter for the most part, but now it's like writers just use it for anyone with large muscles. I feel the same about the 'fastball special'. I thought it was unique to Colossus and Wolverine, but now there's different combinations (although I did find the Magneto/Colussus pairing to be a unique way to use it).

It's really just the old-school fan in me that has the problem with this. I probably wouldn't even notice if I wasn't a (Savage) Hulk fan.

Maybe the heroes were tired of getting caught unawres with it when facing the Hulk, so they decided to implement it themselves.

Man, Janet got hers in Secret Invasion, after telling Wanda she shouldn't have kids? If there was no Avengers Disassembled, Janet would still have got hers, anyway, after the Skrulls attacked. But I can see how bitter people can be, that setting Wanda off, led to HoM and for that, Janet must die.

Why talk when you can know them on their asses form a distance? And with the Bricks the opponent is also often as smart or smarter than they are.It is not like Piotr can do anything quick or subtle enough to Catch Peter. why would they worry , or we worry abut where a move came from?

I honestly was trying to give bricks the benefit of the doubt. You know, not stereotype thier intelligence, or lack thereof.

Piotr could smash their surroundings, limiting the swing options for Spider-Man. Probably taller objects. It would force Spidey to play his game on a ground level.

That's all provided that Latverian lives wouldn't play into that strategy.

I'm not saying it would definitely work out for Colossus, but seeing as Spider-Man can't fly and doesn't possess Quicksilver-level speed, this strategy could work in his favor. Spidey would undobtedly tire before Piotr, whereas Piotr can keep up with being an unmoveable object.

Energy expenditure shouldn't be an issue for Juggernaut, so smashing up property shouldn't be a problem. Plus, throwing huge debris at Spider-man can be effective if he has a good aim. That can also be used to back Spidey into a corner - if not literally.

So many options for a brick that doesn't require stolen goods in the thunderclap.

    What? Is Layla Miller dead?

It's interesting that Layla would have told Doom he didn't attack Wakanda, so Doom did. She would also have told Doom that Valeria would have told him not to sacrifice himself to the Celestials and Doom did. Maybe Doom is reaping the benefits of the doing the opposite of what he would have done?

Stolen good comprise every technique in the real world and comics. I just don't like them ignoring something that works.

Hey, May almost got married to Doc Ock, you know. Maybe she's a villain chaser.

Meh...Colossus realizes he may get mad and switch to demon mode and reverts back to flesh and blood for the first time in months (cuz one self-sacrifice/month isn't enough). Spidey takes full advantage of the opportunity and KO's Colossus.

As far as a pure Spidey/Colossus fight goes... it's a scenario where I think the Avengers side has everything to gain and little to lose since it's one of their lower tier members (powerwise... I'm a BIG Spidey fan) facing off against an X-Men big gun.

Spidey likely can't beat Colossus. But if he can even occupy him and prevent Colossus from fighting someone else, it translates to an indirect Avengers win because it takes one of the X-Men's heaviest hitters out of the equation dealing with Peter.

And I do think Peter can at least occupy Colossus. Peter has dealt with every brick that has ever graced the MU... he knows how to fight them. He can't always beat them but in least he makes them work to get to him.

I forgot about that. That old dame is more connected than Spider-Man. Isn't Doc Ock trying to incinerate the planet as well. Aunt May sure does keep strange company.

One of these days Spidey is going to delay a major brick and they are just going to ignore him. He can only delay Piotr if Piotr is dumb enough to allow him to
