Guys don't believe that propaganda, I have no idea who started that lie.

If we go by just Fangirls opinion they almost all drool over villains or bad guys that are really good looking. If woman weren't visual, then Twilight wouldn't be so popular, or a lot of boy bands.

After bashing CeCe and now Logan, you're coming across as extremely shallow G@ry.

Well, being female, I tend to have at least some understanding. I didn't say looks were never a factor, I said they were often less of a factor for women than men. Take a scenario where someone can choose either A) someone with below average looks, but a great personality or B) Someone who is magazine hot but has the sense of humour of a dish-rag. You'll find more women who will go with the personality and more guys will go with what looks good as eye-candy (the logic being that conversation is over-rated).
And barring the handful of incredibly shallow women I've known, that seems to hold true of most of my female friends as well.
    Age also comes into play.

As a long time female comic fan, I never saw the appeal of Gambit or Angel, or really a lot of the others that seemed to be aimed at female readers. Then again I find the Twilight films to be tedious and I despise boy bands. My favourite always has been, and always will be, Nightcrawler.

^yes there are some like that, but it's rare to see a good looking girl with a guy that has below average looks because of their personality, unless they are rich or famous.

I've commented about personality as well not just looks. If I was shallow Jean Grey would be my favorite character since I think she's look incredibly hot.

This is true but in the sense women put just as much emphasis on attractiveness but men in general are judged slightly less on appearance, comments about women by both sexes will almost be entirely about her appearance. Growing up guys liked Wolverine the short hairy gruff guy who who occasionally got some and I can only make guesses as why they had to Jackman him, good guesses but guesses none the less.

Because he's lickably hot. No idea about women's tastes, though.

Lol, I swear, I was reading the line about Gambit and Angel and I was thinking "Oh, she surely likes Nightcrawler, then".

There's only one single female singer popular with women in the USA who's ugly. Not a single overweight one. ie Many women care about looks and can be cruel over it.

Claremont always saw Wolverine as Bob Hoskins.

Wolverine started getting taller and more handsome around the time he became popular in the 80s. From the time Silvestri drew the X-men and then Jim Lee, he was still short but much more handsome than he was under Byrne, Cockrum, etc. Gradually he started becoming taller to the point where I'd say he's more often depicted around 5'9" or so than 5'3". Though there have been runs here and there by artists who still draw him as very short and somewhat puggish (e.g., Darrick Robertson).

But that is other women looks. A completely different game.

I'm not sure where you get this, Wolverine isn't really depicted as someone who has alot of women throwing themselves at him in the books, not like Namor, Cyclops, Tony Stark or Matt Murdock. He does have the troubled loner thing going on, and he's brazenly flirtatious, which women seem to like. Most of the time things never really get off the ground though or end tragically. As for his looks, sure he's gotten better looking over the years, but then so has Rogue, Magneto and Peter Parker, and characters like Emma and the Black Cat went up several cup sizes, etc. It just comes with the popularity.
