I don't pretend to know what women like, but as a gay man, I think the "animal magnetism" argument applies to Logan in my case.

However, I only really got hot for him in the period where he was treated as a warrior of honor who only kills when it's necessary, and has a wide range of talents and interests outside of being Fuzzy McKillStab. So for me it was a mix of the hidden, cultured side of "Logan" and the primal, ferocious sex appeal of "Wolverine."

It's like why I'm hot for Disney's Beast during the middle-to-end of the movie. He's outwardly fierce and bristly, but you know there's a sensitive, refined side to him that will treat you right, too.

Later, as Logan got less cultured and more Nineties-ified, he lost a lot of that appeal. But I think he could get it back.

Very interesting and well put. As a non-gay male I can completely see it. Logan's personal sense of bushido is both intriguing and attractive. I'd also add that his sense of confidence additionally contributes to why some find him appealing.
