It's ok. Good art but storywise, expect Marvel Team up style arcs, with most of the recent ones being the one and done variety.

I like it, but opinions about past issues will not have any bearing on future issues.

Writer Zeb Wells is leaving soon, to be replaced by Chris Yost.

It's meh. Nothing Special, nothing offensive.

I think it's good. The first arc was pretty funny. I skipped the Hawkeye issue, though. Already hate Land, don't care to see him tracing/drawing that hideous costume. The Cap issue was very good, although I know a few didn't like the lack of action. I feel it didn't need it.

Really? I had not heard that. That should be good, his Scarlet Spider is awesome. Is this a regular thing, or will it have rotating writers?

Agreed on the Cap issue. I think it's going to be rotating for at least a bit?

    Issue #7 is a She-Hulk team-up by the Immonens

    Issue #8 is:
DAN SLOTT AND TY TEMPLETON (w)
    MATTHEW CLARK (a)
    Cover by SHANE DAVIS
    • Ends of the Earth Epilogue!
    • Guest starring: Doctor Strange. Silver Sable. Doctor Doom. And an untold adventure that
    changed them all.

    Issues #9 & #10 (I think it's a two-parter?) are a Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) team-up by Kelly Sue DeConnick & the Dodsons.

I liked the first 3 issues, then the artwork went downhill big time and I lost interest.

1-3 were good. 4 and 5 were OK. I've been looking forward to the Omega Effect so I'm hoping 6 is better. 7 and up all sound good to me, we'll see though.

At the moment, it's meant to be a regular thing.

On the other hand, so was the creative team of Zeb Wells and Joe Mad.

It's a fun read! The interaction between Spidey and the featured heroes might be a little weird ut it's a good book. It's format will change though very soon so it can be considered as a companion book to Amazing.

Read the first 5 issues and they all were fun reads with good art. Can't go wrong with Joe Mad, Greg Land & Yu. Look forward to seeing the Dodson's and Immonens in upcoming archs. People complain about the art but it was advertised as a rotating art book. I for one enjoy seeing different artist version of Spidey.

I like all the issues I had read despite it don't impact much in the continuity.

It is one of those titles that serves to entertain and I think does just that.

I enjoy it but wouldn't go too far out of my way to track it down if I were missing an issue or two.

It isn't an ongoing storyline or anything. If you dig the artist when you see it...Pick it up. If you don't...You aren't lost or in any need to get it from the start to know what's going on.

So far I think the quality is top notch...even the Greg Land issue.

Avenging Spider-Man is actually a Spidey story event. It didn't focus that much on Peter's social life outside of his costume adventures. But that might change when Chris Yost takes over the book after issue #11 or #12. For there, it will be in line with Amazing Spider-Man.

I've enjoyed the first 6 issues so far. Its refreshing to see a "one and done" book. I am on board at least thru issue 7. 8 doesn't interest me, and right now I won't be picking up the Capt Marvel issues but things can change once I see the books in the LCS.
