Ironhide certainly doesn't beat Abomination.

And I don't recall a single Transformer tanking hits on the level of Abomination, who is quicker, stronger, more durable and more maneuverable than them all.

Especially bearing in mind we now know what the same version of Hulk who Abomination went up against is capable of.

the hulk's power level varies depending on his level of pissed off. also, Avengers isn't out in the states yet so please don't bring up hulk's feats from that movie
the autobots are pretty damn agile, plus, Abomination still has to get close to fight. Not easy when your up against a bot who specializes in guns and one with a blaster almost the same size as his chest

Taking helicopter minigun fire to no effect.

Lying on his back on the road being punched repeatedly in the head by the Hulk until he was actually punched into the road, being completely unaffected and proceeding to say 'is that all you've got?'

Not to mention that his earlier weaker incarnation (Super Soldier Blonsky) recovered from having every bone in his body broken by the Hulk within less than a single day.

Cybertronians aren't very tough. I mean they are weak against incendiary rounds IIRC. So Ironhide's gun is not very impressive. If hits from the Hulk were barely enough to register on the Abominations radar, how is a blast from Ironhide's questionable gun going to do it?
