i don't see how anyone could understand jean grey after this latest avengers issue... it was bad enough before.

all i can say is x-factor was a mess...between this title and uncanny, no one -- not the editors, or writers -- had a handle on any of the character dynamics...

We all will probably be best served by completely ignoring this issue. It was written by an Avengers writer who, by all appearances, has never read an X-book in his life and purposely retcons things because it makes him feel important. The story of Fungi will probably clash with AvX, let alone regular X-Men history.

Embrace Jean for what she truly is, not what you want her to be. I would never dismiss any of Feral's past, not her playing nice with her sister or being eaten by Sabretooth.
