We've seen Jean rewrite the universe exactly one time under a specific circumstance.
What story presented the idea that she could do that on a regular basis?
Not that this matters. I'm sure the White Phoenix of the Crown was actually some random 400-year-old girl that looks like Jean or something like that.

Doesn't matter. She's done it once isn't that enough? That she has the power to do that in the first place means that people are going to blame Jean for EVERY BAD THING that happens in the Marvel U because she won't help.

This is why I want Jean back without the Phoenix. I don't want her to be some Deus ex Machina who needs constant jobbings and other bullshit hand waves just to be a usable character.
