Just bought one and trying to figure out a] which comic book reader I should use and b] how to transfer comics to it

Not sure. I just use the Marvel ap and which ever device I use I just re-download the comic.

I use Perfect Viewer on my Kindle Fire for comic book reading. You can just create a folder at the root of your SD card, name it Comics (or whatever you want), and transfer from your pc.
