Is Wonder Woman the best title among the original New 52?

Well, I guess if it wins both the Thunderdome and the other vote then yes, WW is the best of the new 52. Or at least the most popular at the moment on the cbr boads. Shame the sales won't ever reflect that.

I'm a little surprised that Batman isn't miles in the lead. not only is it (imo) a pretty darn good book, but way more people are reading it, so it's got a greater pool of potential votes to draw from.

Obviously Snyder should have Alfred reveal to Bruce that his parents weren't really his parents at all but in fact the head of an international pedophile ring. His birth parents are alive and well but didn't want him and sold him to the Wayne's for some crack money. The Robins have all been plants by a top secret assassins guild to cripple him emotionally and then kill him. The Wayne fortune is being seized by the Government since Lucius Fox has been funding all the drug cartels in Mexico using Bruce's signature. Talia gave him multiple mutated strains of STDs that have no cure. Have Bruce give up the gadgets, forget his martial arts training, and give him super breath. For the big finale let Bruce walk in on Alfred applying the Joker make up so that he understands Alfred has been his arch rival all along.

If he would do this fans would go crazy with true love for Batman and it would win everything.

It's not the best but still an excellent comic. I think the best DCnU comic is Morrison's Action Comics for the 'holy s#it' factor issue 8 had. WW comes 2nd.

I couldn't decide for the longest. I really love the Bat titles at the moment so there's that. I think Action with a single issue has reinvigorated the character for years to come. So I looked at which was most surprising and appealing of those listed and went with Wonder Woman. Not that I haven't enjoyed the character in the past but this run has been so entertaining. I almost went with Aquaman for the same reason. But Wonder Woman won out because this run is so complete. Its adding shading and color to the character and her world that has been lacking for years. I think this run looks to be showing everyone why she not only belongs in the Trinity but deserves it.

I dont know if its my favorite, but its certainly up there. Action, Batman, Animal Man, and Wonder Woman. In no particular order. I think for me personally, Action takes the top spot, with Animal Man following it, and Diana running after those titles but ahead of Snyder's Batman, with a hair lead.

Azz has brought new life and attention to a franchise that has been floundering for years. It's gotten glowing critical reviews and has remained a high selling title, even if last issue did drop it out of the Top 20. It's been one of, if not the, highest selling female lead title across the industry. Looking at all that, its hard not to call it a success.

It's highly controversial, and I dont like everything Azz has done, but then, so are all the books that end up on the national Banned Book list. And generally, if a novel gets banned, you know its good.

Better idea. Let's have a random, never-seen-before-villain break Bruce's spine in half. Then we can replace him with a mentally programmed psycho who can wear armor and start murdering people. He can kick all the sidekicks to the curb too. Who needs them?

Yeah, such drastic changes would never fly. DC wouldnt do that.

Oh. Wait. They did. And its considered a great Batman story by many, if not one of the absolute best like Year One or Dark Knight Returns. Didnt we talk about this in another thread? And wasnt the consensus there that Super and Bat fans have already seen bigger twists than what Diana is going through right now? And we were generally fine with it?
