Default What's the new 52 Superman's connection to the Legion, if any?

I'm just wondering. I didn't get the early issues of Legion Lost, so I don't know if they addressed it ("We should talk to Superman! He was in the Legion when he was younger!" "We should avoid this 'Superman' person, because even if he was our inspiration, we've never met till now!" etc.) there or elsewhere. Help?

The original three first visit Clark as a boy and take him to the future just like the classic tales. What he does there hasn't been shown yet, though.

It's the same connection as usual. He teams up with the Legion in Action Comics #5 and 6.

Kind of sad that they think he's pathetic at first, they're from the future, they would have known he'd become great.

It's no different than how we might feel meeting heroes of the distant past.

That's the reason. Because of his reputation, they believed him to be some kind of Superjesus, and what they met was a 12 year old kid playing with his cape and who is probably barbaric by their standards (the same way a kid from Middle Age would seem incredibly uncivilised by our standards). No wonder they are disapointed. Their expectations were completely unrealistic.
However, it is obvious by the way they treat him that Superman grew up to be exactly what they believed him to be: the World's Greatest Hero.
