Default Female Punisher in DD 11?

Who is this female Punisher protege' in Dare Devil 11? Where did she first appear?

BTW, I can't say enough about the writing in the latest DD series. It is top notch!

Did you read Avenging Spider-Man and Punisher this month?

She debuted in recent Punisher series written by Greg Rucka. Her character is showcased in the Omega Effect crossover, which I highly recommend. Check out Avenging Spidey 6 and Punisher 10 to complete the fast paced, character driven story.

Her name is Rachel Cole-Alves. She was introduced in the first issue of the latest Punisher series.

Jebus, is no one safe from the girl effect.
Come next year Marvel is going to be able to do comic feature all girl versions of male heroes.

She's not the first female punisher by any means.

Last I heard of Lynn Michaels, she and Payback had left together. Have they appeared since Punisher's solo titles were cqncelled in the '90s?

LOL! she was actually called Lady Punisher. That's nice, but she should have black hair.

We've been saying for awhile now that the current Punisher series with Greg Rucka has been overlooked, dismissed or both. It takes this crossover for people to finally sit up and take notice. I guess for the first time in a long time a crossover has actually accomplished what it should.

This series is awesome. I've been reading Punisher for twenty some odd years and own every Punisher comic. Trust me when I say the regular MU version of Punisher has never been written this well. It's simply awesome.

And for those talking about Frank's death, there's only one in my mind. The recent Max series was the perfect ending for Frank. He can't go out any other way than that. Fury nailed it.
