I also really don't understand why Flash doesn't just TELL the Avengers. Sure, he doesn't tell the army because the army has rules and regulations and stuff. Fine. Secret Avengers have none of that. He tells them "hey, Crime Master knows who I am and threatened my family, we should take him out." And BAM. They take him out. Also, Venom being the symbiote guy we saw is the single most disappointing person they could have revealed him as. I just...don't find it interesting.

It's not a very logical move on Flash's part, but he hasn't been thinking clearly for a while from what I understand. He's 'addicted' to the symbiote for lack of a better word, and his life is now entrenched in dishonesty.

He's kind of like the kid who thinks he'll get in more trouble than he really would.
