Just a heads up that, if there are any fans of E. C. Segar's Popeye here, you may want to check out IDW's new Popeye comic. The artwork, lettering, dialogue and spirit of this book are spot on for the Popeye of old.
And you won't believe all the characters who show up in this story: Castor Oyl, Olive Oyl, Mom & Pop Oyl, Eugene the Jeep, Popeye, Wimpy, Roughhouse, Bluto, Glurk (didn't recognize him; is he a pre-existing character?), Sea Hag, Swee'Pea and Alice the Goon!
Highly recommended.

I loved the old Popeye cartoons & comic strips. This new mini series was perfect.
