Personal Take on the Ultimate Universe

Would you like to just start the whole Ultimate Universe over? Just stick with the characters, remove the baggage of Ultimatum and have YOU write it? If you're one of those people, join me to "reboot" the Ultimate Universe using Fan Fiction. There we can have mini-serieses and mainstream stories. Right here, right now, I want to pick up the Spider-Man franchise. Instead of completely rebooting it, I will take it from the first arc onward, with new villains and everything. And, on this thread, we can also talk about major crossover events for our Fan Fics and even events going on in our books to keep continuity. If you are interested, just write your Fan Fic user name and what mainstream comic or what mini series you'd like to do. You can even do a few mini serieses if you would like. Just tell me.

Like most comic or short stories, you only need to write a story monthly. The title of our Universe will be Earth-1710. And the deadline for mainstream comic writers is May 3rd, a week from today, at 9 PM. The next day, I want to write my Ult Spidey story. So, anyone willing to help. P.S. Others can take over a mainstream title if another withdraws.

I have made the pilot and plan to upload it. Once I have it, I will give you the link to the story. This is the event that will seperate 1610 from 1710. And, by the way, please join me in recreating a period in the Ultimate Universe and giving new characters (such as Miles) more time, by introducing him as a superpowered Spider-Man in the beginning. Peter and Miles can have a few team-ups if you so choose but their will be TWO Spider-Men. As for the X-Men, I have nothing against what Spencer is doing or what Millar did the beginning. You can even have a few mutants already dead if you so choose. As for the Fantastic Four, as I stated above Reed can be the main villain but their must be four heroes. Please also give me some ideas or outlines of your stories, either before or after the story is "published". And as for the Spider-Man series I will be doing, he will have only been Spider-Man for a month when the book starts. The only supervillain he has faced so far is the monstrous version of the Green Goblin. I will start with the Kingpin next, but I will make it so it's an imminent gang war. Please help me with this task!

I actually have a way of introducing Miles as Spider-Man without killing off Peter, which I think is ingenious.

I think, if no one is going to take over with Miles, I will create his own origin, still getting bitten by the spider. But, I have a new way to introduce him. Actually, I think I'll do the pilot for Miles. I have a fantastic idea of how to introduce him without killing Peter.

And he'd be the most badass crime fighter in all of New York and a hero to Spider-Boy who looks up to him and wants to fight crime along side him. But DD refuses and tells him that he's too young.

The point is to ignore the UU's mistakes (aka killing Peter) and not to expand them (Hulk with four arms). The Daredevil thing could work, though.

So you're OK with having a DD dressed in pink spandex but you don't want a four-armed Hulk?? What's wrong with Hulk having four arms? He'd be like a cross between Hulk from Millar's original Ultimates and Goro from Mortal Kombat. Wouldn't that be cool.

Also I'm not sure what you mean about not expanding upon mistakes such as Hulk. How was Ultimate Hulk a bad editorial mistake in the first place. His primal savagery is what makes him so badass!

I mean, since I started reading the UU back in 2005, I have always wanted to read another Ultimate ongoing solo book that didn't feature Spiderman. Just look at the diverse range of characters we could give 1710. We could have a Wolverine ongoing, a Captain America ongoing, a Daredevil, Shang Chi or Luke Cage ongoing. I don't see the point of having two spiderman books when there are so many other great character to use.

I'm also not overly keen on names likes 'Miles Morales' or 'Peter Parker'. 1710 should have it's own spiderman. Not some 1610 wanabe. You get me, Darman?

Robbie, I do think that having two ongoing titles of two different Spider-Man is interesting, but not everyone is going to like that and I understand. But, I just have one question. You want a different character a Spider-Man but what about Daredevil, Captain America or Iron Man? Why have those remain the same. And, we could do more ongoings, but the ongoings I have said right now are the bare minimum. But if no one wants two ongoing Spider-Man titles, then we don't need them. But I'm at least keeping Peter Parker. I can delete stories, so if we don't want a Miles Spidey as well, we can chuck him.

I do like the idea of a Wolverine, Captain America and DEFINITELY a Daredevil ongoing but will we have the man power? I don't know/think so. So far, if we can include you, we only have three people interested. That can cover three titles. That's three of four (if we chuck Miles). That leaves one more. Then we can discuss Daredevil, Captain America and Wolverine ongoings if people want more than one title.
