Default Cyclops isn't happy with Howard the Duck's stance on Avengers Versus X-Men

Howard showed up on the wrong beach promoting Captain America.

This is not funny. Steve Gerber should have had creator rights over Howard the Duck. This spits on his legacy.

It's all in good fun. Howard the Duck is a fun character and needs some coverage. He's still a bit pissed about the whole not existing during Civil War :-D

Howard needs another ongoing. Steve Gerber's short-lived MAX series was awesome. I still remember the little girl scout armed with an M60 busting into Howard and Beverly's place alongside the SWAT team and National Guard screaming "FREEZE, MOTHERFUCKERS!"
I hope I still have all those floppies laying around somewhere.

Okay, I threw up a poll on my FB the other day saying Cyke or Cap. I got more votes for Cap so he wound up as the focal point of the image with Cyke in the wrong, so I drew it. I've been on a bit of a Howard the Duck bender recently http://penciltoink.blogspot.com/ .

I was just going through my Howard the Duck comics yesterday. Truly a part of Marvel History that I don't think we'll ever see again; they were willing to try some really outrageous stuff. A lot of it didn't work, but every now and then they hit on something special. Howard was special.

I'd love to see what Gerber would come up with in today's political climate. In some ways, Watergate must seem almost quaint compared to what goes on every day in America. I don't think he'd be on the beaches of Utopia, though; he'd probably be hunting down George Lucas to administer the ass-kicking he so richly deserves.

Very cute. Wish it was in color though. Marvel seems to have forgotten the charm Howard the Duck added to their list of character. I'm still waiting for a Howard the Duck/Hit Monkey team up.

That's a damn good idea for my next adventure with Howard. As for now though things are looking really good. I think him pointing out how batsh!t crazy cyclops is acting is a bit necessary, lol. Should have more images soon.

    That's another really good idea. I have a friend that's a colorist.
