glad to see an indie writer on this title
who would have thought that Frankenstein would be the best characterization title on the DC lineup

the mummy (Khalis) has a great, crazy back story so I'm going to get into that and hopefully after a few issues you'll start to care as much about those secondary characters as you do the main man himself.
    that alone makes me excited
always thought Khalis was the least used character on the team

    Thumbs up

Im going to pick up his first issue, but I don't pick it up currently. It was too boring with nothing of significance happening. I think it was the narrator that also pissed me off... I don't really know what I didn't like about it, but something seemed off. And I'm a big Lemire fan too! Hopefully this guy does well on it.

WHY IS THIS IN THE INDEPENDENTS FORUM?!

For all the Roberson-related grief DC is getting, they are doing great work giving some talented indie writers a crack at some Big 2 properties.

I've said it multiple times, Lemire and Kindt should co-write the new Doom Patrol series. They already kinda co-wrote Frankenstein before Lemire left it.
