that alone makes me excitedthe mummy (Khalis) has a great, crazy back story so I'm going to get into that and hopefully after a few issues you'll start to care as much about those secondary characters as you do the main man himself.

Im going to pick up his first issue, but I don't pick it up currently. It was too boring with nothing of significance happening. I think it was the narrator that also pissed me off... I don't really know what I didn't like about it, but something seemed off. And I'm a big Lemire fan too! Hopefully this guy does well on it.

For all the Roberson-related grief DC is getting, they are doing great work giving some talented indie writers a crack at some Big 2 properties.
I've said it multiple times, Lemire and Kindt should co-write the new Doom Patrol series. They already kinda co-wrote Frankenstein before Lemire left it.
