    Default Good Ultimate FF Stories

I dropped out of the ultimate universe during Ultimatum and the Banshee storyline in ult. x men. I was never that big of a reader of ult. FF, though I read through the first 12 issues. The new ultimate comics lines look very interesting so I'm starting back up from Ultimatum onward. I'm also reading the back issues of ult spidey and x men. I'd like to read some of the older ult. FF too.

My question is this: what are the best ult FF stories to read, if there any? Thanks in advance for suggestions!

The arc with Thanos and the cosmic cube has always been one of my favorite. #33-38 #50-53

#21-23 "Crossover" - If you don't know anything about this storyline I won't ruin it for you, but its great!

#27-29 "President Thor" - It really doesn't have anything to do with Thor being president, but its a great time travel/alternate future type story. In the beginning you'll be like "Huh?", but by the end everything will make perfect sense.

#30-32 "Frightful" - Basically the conclusion to "Crossover".

#42-46 "Silver Surfer" - The ultimization of the Silver Surfer's (or Silver Searcher as he's called) storyline when he comes to Earth.

#50-52 "Four Cubed" - F4 vs Thanos and the Cosmic Cube. Good story, actually starts in "God War" #33-38, but I have yet to read those.

Those are my favorites though. Love the Ultimate F4, I really wish they had a series out now.

Wow I never knew there was an Ultimate Thanos! Did he survive at the end?

Does Ultimate Secret count? I liked that story. It was the first appearence of Geheneris Mahr-Vehl.

That page is the last panel of the story arc :P
"Predictable? If there were any more plot twists going on, we'd need M. Night Shyamalan to randomly appear at the end saying 'What a twist' before vanishing". - Kurolegacy on Ult X-Men #8.

Just wait till you see Ferry's art. God War was the book that made me wish Carey/Ferry had free reign to revamp DC's cosmic corner.
Currently reading She-Hulk, Deadpool, Swamp Thing, Ms. Marvel

Probation: Ghost Rider, Loki: LoA, Secret Avengers

Looking forward to All-New Ultimates, Flash Gordon and Doctor Mirage.

The first half of it (#1-#32) ranges from entertaining to incredible. Millar and Ellis had some seriously awesome stories. The Fantastic (first arc), N-Zone, and President Thor stand out as my favorites.

The back half, Carey's run, is a mixed bag. A lot of it focuses on Reed's descent into madness due to the Cosmic Cube, as introduced in God War. It's got some great ideas, but Carey had some trouble - in my opinion - keeping his stories focused, so they lose some impact. Silver Surfer is easily my favorite of this run; Pasqual Ferry absolutely kills it on art duties. A few of the arcs, Devils in particular, are complete duds, though.
I like Ultimate Comics. - Read them with us!

I also buy: Captain America, Avengers, FF, New Avengers, X-Factor, among others

Thanks. I've picked up the trades for The Fantastic and Crossover. I'll have to pick up the cosmic cube and silver surfer stories as well.
