Default Ultimate Speculation: How will it end for Reed?

Okay guys! Hickman has given us a breathtaking story so far, and we have only three issues left before this big Reed story ends!

I thought it would be fun to speculate on how this will end for Reed Richards. Any ideas, just throw it out there!

I'll include a poll for general scenarios, but please do provide more detailed speculations if you have any!

Reed Richards will be Secon-In-Command to Agent Flumm, Director of SHIELD, while they hunt down the Ultimates and bring them to justice for their crimes.

I'm kind of in the camp I've seen crop up on /co/, that The Children with surpass/betray/forget him and just launch themselves and the city into space.

I've been placing my bets on Tony coming up with something awesome but with all the talk of Ben and Sue, I just don't know. I would really like for them to be involved but they'd have to be woven in a way that didn't make them a deus ex machina. Honestly, I just don't know. Hickman just blew up the entire government, I've got nothing to go on.

Reed has already accomplished more then Magneto ever did so I say let him live. But personally I don't want him to ever die. Ultimate Reed is by far the smartest Reed ever and he isn't weighed down by emotions or morals. So I say keep him alive and if both the Ultimate and 616 universes are running on fumes and are going for a reboot make Ultimate Reed the absolute Villian to destroy every universe.

Given SHIELD's track record, I'd say "locked up by SHIELD" and "manages to escape" are pretty much the same thing. The Triskelion practically has revolving doors. It's worse than Arkham Asylum.

The City and most of the Children are destroyed. The Death Child has been killed by Ironman and Thor. The People of Tian are victorious, though America has gone through some significant changes. Defeated, Reed leaves earth with his remaining Children. She-Hulk attempts to convince Hulk not to go with him. But Hulk refuses and instead goes off with Reed. Reed, Hulk, First Knife and few other Children rocket into space.

And they return in vol.4 with Ultimate Thanos!
This volume will also see the return of Ben and Sue. Captain Mahr-Vehl will also return in this volume.

Agree with robcastor, that's a pretty awesome idea. Just don't like Hulk joining Reed. Hope he doesn't!

To an extent, yeah. As comic book readers we never expect the villains to remain locked up forever...they are bound to escape at some point or another. Most of SHIELD's contained villains didn't escape immediately after being locked up.

Look at Frank Simpson. He's still locked up for now.
