Question pertaining to Krypton's effect on humans

My friend had a question. He knows that Krytonians are powered by the Earth's Sun while there, but he was wondering if humans were able to go to Krypton if they'd be powered up?

Krypton I believe had a RED sun. A red sun is not as hot as our yellow sun. So if you went to Krypton you'd be cold and sluggish.

Post Crisis Continuity, humans aren't affected at all. Kryptonians, due to the messing about of their genetics, could gain powers under particular suns. A red sun will freeze their powers, rendering them as powerless. Under an orange sun, they're at half the power they're normally at. Under a blue sun, their powers increase and even gain more abilities.
