Not on mine. :( But I can dimly hear the sound of the in-crowd laughing and partying behind the blank wall.

    How bloody odd.

    Here's my view --

Hmmmm. Stand by while we sort out our technical difficulties.
I tend to split superhero comics fans into "People who like Krypto" and "People who don't like Krypto."
Basically, if you miss the wonder of a dog flying around in a little Superman cape, you're in the wrong hobby.

    Lemme try that again --

    <a href="http://s26.photobucket.com/albums/c129/arktrav/?action=view&amp;current=FBpix-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c129/arktrav/FBpix-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

*sigh* Never mind. Apparently, I've lost the ability to post images.

    Weird.

Edit: Or, I'm on auto-pilot & the plane isn't functioning very well.

    Duh.

You have problems with the image upload as well? i thought it was just me. I usually end up uploading images to my own webspace and just linking them, like this:

Now you know what the world looks like to the rest of us. :( Spare a penny, guvnor?

My only uploading problem this time around was purely self-induced -- I was using HTML without thinking about it (my excuse is that it's what I use here at work), rather than the proper IMG. But yeah, I always upload them to Photobucket to begin with, simply because otherwise I have no idea when the source image might disappear & leave a void here.

And I see from your posted view of Moench's page that you're definitely exiled in the "Icky Uncool People" camp. So sorry to hear that.

I wish they would have let Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz continue the run.

Tolworthy: It looks like you are logged into facebook under "enter the page" which is your game right? So I'm guessing you made this page as a group, business, or something along those lines. I don't think those types of facebook pages allow you to make friend requests or send messages.

Log in to facebook under a "normal" account, I mean a personal one under your own name, or if you don't have one just make one. It only takes a few minutes. Under a normal personal page you should have the options to friend or send messages.

This is definitely the right answer. A place I worked for had a Facebook account and it wasn't allowed to "friend" anyone. It could only be "Liked." I guess this is Facebook's way of keeping businesses from hounding people?

You're right! You found the secret entrance. Thanks! I had about given up trying. (Maybe I should rethink that career as a hacker.)

Should've thought of destro's solution myself, since I run my employer's Facebook (&, laughably enough, Twitter) accounts.

You have excellent taste. It doesn't click with most FF readers, because it is so different from the Byrne stuff that surrounds it - it was basically throwing late Moon Knight into the middle of Marvel Adventures (sticking that super-simple Byrne story in the middle was especially jarring). But with the benefit of hindsight, I prefer it to Byrne's run. (And I love Byrne's run.)

LOL - it's early in the morning and my eyes are still blurry. I thought you said "ruin"

As an update, no response from Mr M so far. He must get a lot of mail, and judging by his low profile elsewhere he's probably not the chatty type. I doubt he remembers much about 11 issues from 32 years ago anyway, so I suppose his work has to stand on its own. But I would like him to know that his work is appreciated - that his contribution to comics history goes beyond Shang Chi and Batman.

I think it took three days for him to approve my friend request. He's not a big facebooker. In fact, the only time I've ever seen him post was in response to mine and thewhtguardian's reviews of Electric Warrior.
