Yeah, apparently Tara was never really "brain "Dead"", just really, really, really, really, really pissed off. Not that I can blame her. But now that she has been turned, she never has to be the victim again. She may eventually come to enjoy that new found power. Sookie and Lafayette can only hope that Tara's orders from Pam were not to bite them will keep them safe, but that said... there are more ways to skin a cat than six.

Leave it to Tara to be the most obnoxious newborn vampire in the series. Not that she doesn't have any right to be upset. All around good episode, but I'm wondering how long we will have to endure her whining about being a vampire.

I also have to say I'm not that interested in the storyline with Terry and his army buddies. I was interested in the fact some vampires seem to genuinely believe God was a vampire. I also can't help but think Eric looked ridiculous in his 1905 attire.

I like Tara is SMALL doses but I almost wish they would have let her die. But perhaps she will embrace her vampire self and get away from the constant WOE IS ME routine. I do think she has had it rough as a character but they could have kept her more in the background so she would not become so hated as she curently is.

The Terry storyline has me bored to tears already and I hate when they even cut to that because it's less time they get to spend on the more interesting storylines.

It's nice that Jason is trying to be less of a douche but I think he was better as a character in the first couple of seasons. Also, are we ever going to find out about Crystal and the panther people. He was used as a stud to impregnate their women and they sort of left that in the dust.

    Chris Meloni

I can tell that child actor playing the vampire will get annoying VERY fast.

I also am loving the biblical aspects which I can see pissing off a LOT of people.

You are OBVIOUSLY forgetting about the early days of Jessica. She was FAR more annoying than Tara is. Hell, Tara is justified in her hatred of Sookie and Lafayette at least. Jessica was just an unfortunate bystander whom Bill was forced to turn, and she whined CONSTANTLY about not getting to have any fun, and not being allowed to do this or that. She has become much better as time went on. I suspect the same will be true of Tara.

I just chalk it up as them finding new excuses to bash Tara more, eventhough said excuses are BS. I agree that Tara at least has an excuse as, in her view, the vampirism was forced upon her

I hope they finish up the plot concerning Terry because the more I'm seeing it the more I don't like it. It's turning him into a douche and I've always considered Terry one of the few decent human characters in True Blood, with him and Arleen's relationship being the most stable relationship on the series.

I hope Russel has enough arsenal to take down The Authority because from the looks of things I don't see him taking The Authority down alone, if an Authority has to be killed I hope it's the kid vampire.

I like vampire Newlin, hope he doesn't end up facing the True Death. Anyone feels he might end up being recruited by The Authority as their new spokesperson? Would be an ironic scenario if thats the case. Also I like the chemistry between him and Jessica. Normally I'd hate another vampire human love triangle but this one is pretty entertaining.

Sam really needs a better storyline.

I'm surprised Newlin's former followers isn't trying to kill him, you'd think with Newlin coming out as a vampire that the followers would feel betrayed that their founder is not only a vampire but is also a spokesman for vampire/human relations

My thoughts exactly... I always liked them as the "outside and normal" couple on the show that just hit the fringes of the drama at Merlots but typically never got sucked too far into the vampire/supernatural stuff. Last season took it a bit far but the Arleen vs the baby stuff was pretty funny.

I just hate when they start dragging more characters into 'major' storylines because we only get 13 episodes a season and it really strains the 45 minutes or so we get weekly to fit it all in.

The plot with Terry just reminded me of that storyline when we got a look into Sam's past and Sam started to act like a douche to people, now Terry is following the leader and I just hope him and Arleen dont break up when it's all over. BTW do you think there could be a chance Hoyt and Jessica might get back together? I don't think Jason's barking that tree anytime soon

Oh it is just like Sam's story... never thought of it that way but you are 100% right. Arleen and Terry are a great couple and hopefully this doesn't ruin that.

I liked Hoyt and Jessica together but Jessica is coming more and more into her own though and I don't know if she would tolerate just being with Hoyt and his backwood (yet totally charming) lifestyle.

I don't like Jessica and Jason together so hopefully they wrap that simmering storyline up soon.

The addition of Newlin just made the situation with Jessica and Jason entertaining though. Its like Bill/Eric/Sookie but not to the point where you had to roll your eyes at the cheesy moments. Newlin is Bill, Jessica is Eric, while Jason takes the role of Sookie. BTW hate to use a Twilight reference but...Go Team Newlin!!!!

I remember Jessica fine. She didn't seem to throw a temper tantrum and go around braking a bunch of crap constantly.

I'm not seeing how the reasons are BS. She went around obnoxiously smashing stuff all over the place. Yes, Jessica was also obnoxious, but they can't both be the most obnoxious newborns on the show and to me Tara takes the cake on that one. You are fine to disagree with that if you want. Different people have different opinions of what obnoxious behavior is. Yes she is entitled to be upset, but having a reason to be obnoxious doesn't actually make the behavior any less obnoxious.

Also frankly I don't need new "excuses" to bash her. I'm reacting to one of the storylines current going on in the series. I dislike her character, but it doesn't mean I'm going to judge her more harshly then any other character. I would find this behavior obnoxious on anyone, not just specifically Tara. She's not the only obnoxious character to ever appear on the show.

Didn't it ever occur that Tara's still suffering from the effects of missing half a brain, which could explain her raging moments. While there are other annoying characters than Tara you seem to be only singling Tara out while looking the other way when other characters on True Blood continue to do things that are annoying. Like Jason's whoring around, Terry being a douche, etc

I would hardly call what Tara is going though a "constantly" situation. She hasn't even been turned a full 36 hours yet. And your comment was that she was the most obnoxious new vampire. Jessica was far worse for far longer than Tara has been so far. If she is still doing this after a month, then yeah... you may have a point. But not yet. It is far to early to call.

Agreed. Can the Tara haters just chill and wait a few episodes before having this kind of a rant? I'd be with them if she becomes a pain for the whole season but as for now it's just one episode! At least wait till she's out of her post vampire funk

I don't think she's missing her brain. They heal really quickly and she is talking.
