I completely fell in love with Pam last night in the first 10 minutes.
I loved her lines (I don't recall exact wording) of:
What if she comes back ****tarded?
A reference to Sookies super snatch.
And the reference to wearing a Walmart sweatsuit.

Price your book at $3.99 and I'll trade wait. Make me wait too long for the trade PAPERback and I'll say screw it. I'm looking at you Marvel and Spider Island.
I agree with you.
I'm sure that right now somewhere gay groups are already spreading outrage that the new gay character (the minister whatever his name is) on the show is one of the bad guys because history shows that any time a special interest group character is the bad guy the group protests.
Too often you see a lot of vehement outrage anytime a minority or gay character is killed or made out to be the bad guy. Look at what happened on Buffy when they killed Tara and the entitlement that the gay community outraged with when it happened.

Russell and his boyfriend were villains and gay. Season 1 also had the three vampire trio and one of them was also gay. Pam, who's not really a good guy, but is a Lesbian. You also had Nan Flannigan who was a lesbian.
There's sexuality of all forms in this show. Good guys and bad guys. Hasn't been that big of a deal or outrage.

To be fair... that was a different time. Tara and Willow were two of the very few openly gay characters on Television at that time, so there was an understandable outrage. Today, there are many many more gay characters on shows. So there is less of an outcry when one dies. After all, gays are mortal. They do die. It happens.

The scene where Bill is on the phone and Eric is behind him cleaning the office superfast was pretty funny. As was the name "Ike Applebaum" and Eric's reaction to it.

I did like how Lafayette got all up in Alcide's face.
Eric's "fuck sookie" comment was surprising yet in character for him. Didn't take him long to get over her and I gotta say it's good to see the old Eric Northman back.
I'm really not too surprised with Tara being a vampire. I've always figured she would end up being one down the road as the universes way of telling her "You hate vampires then you will become one". Also this reminds me of when Caroline turned in Vampire Diaries, minus the "came back wrong" scenario.
If I had to pick a storyline I dont like it's Terry's storyline. When compared to the rest I'm just not that into the arc involving his former war buddy returning

Very good start to the season. Can't wait to see Russel make a come back.
I'm not surprised Tara is a vampire. I am surprised that it was Pam who turned her. With their history, it might have been more fun to have Pam just save her with her blood, then do that whole "attraction" thing between a vamp and a human who has consumed their blood. Even turning Tara, but keeping her old personality, could cause some fun sparks between them. The previews make it seem like Tara will be some sort of mindless vampire killing machine. Which is ok, but I think the catfighting that could have gone on would have been funnier. Anything that brings out more bitchy Pam is funnier.

When the Rev was about to put the tape over Jason's mouth he said something about the only thing Jason would remember was inviting him in and asking for the tape to be put over his mouth. It kinda makes me wonder what else went on that we didn't see.
Pam makes the show for me... she consistantly gets the funniest lines and always gets to be a bad mother******. She is awesome.
Andy must have worked out all year to get in shape for his nude scene. I don't recall him being that in shape last season.
Reduced To Ashes
i like the show, but the main characters never die. seems like they are never really in any danger. I guessed tara would become a vampire because they never kill off any characters. I dont know, still alot of fun though!
I think Pam stole the show with her dialog last night.
I've heard people saying that some characters that are being introduced this season who are apart of the Authority are over 5000 years old so if Russel becomes a real problem...no big deal. Actually, that might have been from this thread.
And it makes sense there would be vampires that old in that group seeing as how they are The Authority so they probably have some of the oldest vampires on Earth in order to maintain their laws obviously.
