God, no. Don't even suggest that jokingly.

That would require Mr. Osborn to get back in the Goblin Greens. And I don't believe he's done that since New Ways to Die. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What if Peter and Miles swapped universes for awhile. That could possibly be interesting to see how and older Peter reacts to finding out he's been killed, more youthful versions of his loved ones and battles the ultimate versions of his rouges. All the while Miles is trapped in the 616 doing the same, possibly meeting the 616 of himself.

I read Spider-Man to see Peter Parker being Spider-Man. If I want to read about Miles Morales I'll go pick up Ultimate Spider-Man. Also, a young newbie fighting and beating established rogues only serves to diminish the rogues, not build up the hero.

I'm going all out on my speculation at this point, I'm afraid. Maybe Peter will shunted off to the Heroes Reborn Earth that was transported to 616 and set on the opposite side of the Sun as Counter-Earth and conquered by Doom afterwards. It has never had a Spider-Man, so maybe events there necessitate a need for a street-level fighter like him. No one at Marvel, not even Hickman, has revisited this world recently, to my knowledge.

Well, I really hope that Peter isn't replaced with a 616 version of Miles Morales. It will have barely been a year since Miles put on the costume in his Ultimate book, he's hardly had a chance to prove himself, and it would be way too soon to introduce him in 616. Plus, it would just seem very forced and contrived. Mark my words, eyes would roll.

Also, I am very much enjoying the things that the Ultimate universe has going on right now. I'd say that the events of Ultimate are more interesting right now than the events of 616. But every time 616 steals something from Ultimate, it diminishes Ultimate. It's a shitty way to treat the imprint, it doesn't bode well for it in the long term, and it makes 616 look like a spoiled bully of sorts. Do Marvel want their Ultimate line to succeed? Or do they want it to succeed only just enough to periodically gut it and use it to prop up the stale parts of 616?

I really hope that he doesn't die. Although, I feel that everything is speculation at this point, it's better to take a wait and see angle. With regards to MJ, I say let Peter remain SINGLE for the timebeing because he just broke up with Carlie Cooper not too long ago. As with Felicia, MJ is certainly not going to play the rebound game with him.

It wouldn't surprise me if they tried that, Ultimate Nick Fury has already been incorporated into 616 just under a different name, Marcus Johnson. I want to like Miles, but Marvel really needs to stop telling us how "cool" and "awesome" he is. For me it was a turn off.

Even if they kill/replace/whatever Peter, he'll be back eventually. Peter will never, ever be gone from Spier-Man permanently. It just will not happen.

Of course not! This is 616 Marvel we're talking about, after all.

If they'd kill Peter off that would really prove that marvel has officially run out of ideas.

Ok joke aside I really hope this isn't going to happen.

What I'd accept if they changed universes for a while.

But Slott has to write Peter even in ultimate.

    OTHERWISE: NO DEAL.
The lack of originality will always bother me

Since everyone thought Bendis was gonna ultimize Miguel O'Hara after DOSM, they're gonna kill regular Pete and timestorm Miguel in the regular universe and make shit happen. Oh yeah...

If they make someone other than Pete, Kaine or Ben Spider-man I will drop any related Spider title instantly as Im sure legions of people would.
