I had an interesting idea that would kill 3 birds with 1 stone of bringing Scorpion Peter back, bringing Venom back and making Venom relevant to Miles. Considering that the suit has shown less of a negative response to Peter compared to Eddie, a story involving bonding the black suit to Scorpion could possibly create a more stable and dangerous Venom. This would make Venom more personal of a villain to Miles since Scorpion is literally a clone of the person Miles is trying to emulate thus he'd want to stop this new Venom and possibly save Scorpion from it. Plus it'd be different than 616 since it would be a case of Peter as Ultimate Venom.

I don't know if anybody recalls, but I once started a thread calling for the Scorpion Clone to return as a twisted, dark version of Peter Parker to be an arch-foe for Miles. I seem to recall the idea being met with something less than enthusiasm, but I like Kurolegacy's idea even more. At least the symbiote's presence could help explain why he cracks up. Let's make this happen!
