Default Bat-titles shipping Wednesday, May 2

These are the bat-titles that Diamond has announced are shipping this week. Clicking on a link will take you to the DC Comics site for cover art, creative team and story summary.

Batman & Robin: Batman & Robin Must Die TP
    Batwing #9
Detective Comics #9 (See updated cover image here) and updated solicitation information here.

These sorta-related titles will also be shipping: Earth Two #1, Justice League International #9, Teen Titans Annual #1 and Worlds' Finest #1.

A lot bigger week than what I'm used to in the first ship-week. I'll be getting Detective, Earth Two and Worlds' Finest. (No idea if I will continue to pick up those last two, but I have to check them out.) I'll also probably take a look at Batwing, since it's the Night of the Owls tie-in.

'Tec, Batwing (only for Nite of the Owls), and I too, will try Earth Two and Worlds' Finest (I usually buy new series that catch my interest through the end of what will be contained in the first TPB)
Pull List: None. Moving to trade-waiting.

No actual Batbooks for me next week, but a bucket-full of other juicy stuff (come to momma, Earth Two ).

Probably just Batwing. Might back track if great things are said about Earth Two and World's Finest.

Batwing, Detective Comics, and Teen Titans Annual. I might check out Earth-2 if I hear good things.

E2, TT Annual, JLI (only because my optimistic subscription hasn't lapsed. After the Batwing intro, I was ready to burn the mediocrity). So no Batbooks.

Nothing on the Batside. Just the one book this week as it turns out, and that's WF. Hopefully the art and writing will compensate for PG's new look.

    'Tec (for NoTO)
    Batwing
Earth 2 (I really, really hope that Starman makes an appearance here. I've been reading the Omnibus' and that is just a great story.)

A pretty big week, which as you said Jim, is surprising. For me it's a big "Let's see..." kind of week as I'm picking up many of these titles on a trial basis. The court of Owls tie in for Detective seems like a good place to test the waters to see if I want to get back into the book again, the number ones for World's Finest and Earth-2 look interesting enough to try and the Teen Titan's annual is going to be my crucible for whether or not I want to follow that book through its crossover.

    It should be interesting.

I will get Earth Two for sure and perhaps the Teen Titans Annual. I always liked Annuals when I was younger and am glad they are bringing them back. The double sized issue is a fun experience.
