Bio: All her life, Penelope has been what people will call a doormat, always doing what people tell her, never really standing up for herself, which is what lead her into the 'relationship' with her boyfriend Matt, a bully with low level super strength (Class 3) Penelope is frequently harassed and insulted by him for the smallest things. It started a few years back, when Matt was showing off his power to his friends, he backed Penelope up against a tree and then punched it down, threatening to do the same to her if she didn't become his girlfriend. It's not just him either. The clique's frequently put her through hell every day. She tried talking to the Principal, but he didn't lift a finger to help either.. Her home life is equally horrible, with her parents treating her like dirt daily. This was her life. No friends, no family, and fake smiles for the world with no one to help her.

One day, when she was getting money from the bank for her folks, a supervillain named Crimson Arc attacked it. When a hero came in, a fight broke out. The bad guy was losing of course, so he grabbed the closest hostage, Penelope. The villain ran off, using her as a human shield. Penelope was panicking, she struggled, grabbing his hands with her own. Then it happened. Her hands closed on a tear in his glove, touching his flesh, and Penelope felt herself fill with power, his power. As the villain fell back, Penelope stumbled forward, energy crackling from her hands. The villain was furious and attacked her. Penelope used the power, blasting into a wall. Crimson Arc was put into a coma. She ran home.
After getting home, she tested her new found power, destroying some empty cans. Flopping on her bed, Penelope began cracking up, finally erupting into laughter. She had power now. Penelope thought back through the encounter, and realized that she had stolen Crimson Arc's red electricity. She was a power stealer. Penelope took the time to do some research on this kind of thing. It took awhile, but she scrounged up a little bit of info and made some notes.

A few days later she tricked her abusive boyfriend Matt into going on a walk with her, leading him down a path in a park where they could be alone. Acting sweet, she told him to close his eyes, pretending she would kiss him...then grabbed him and stole his strength. After testing it out by destroying a boulder, Penelope angrily beat him into a coma.. The next day she met with Damon, a kid she used to avoid for fear of Matt attacking him. The two have made up and become friends, she also made another friend in a girl named Laura. She asked them to help her with a psych paper on supervillains she was writing, but Penelope is actually planning to use it to figure them out so she can hunt down and take their powers. Penelope justifies this that if their using to hurt and kill innocent people, they don't deserve to have powers, and said powers can be better used to help people. Besides which, if they don't have their powers anymore, it's that much easier for the cops to handle them right? Right. In school, she is working to make things up to the picked on students, and even shoved a snobby cheerleader into a locker to teach her a lesson about picking on people.

With the most recent attack on the school, Penelope has managed to take down an actual street thug by slamming a door into him and breaking most of his bones, and two others by surprising them with her electricity. Encountering Damon and Jayce again, she teamed up with them, pretending to need a bat to help her to hide her powers.

After the situation was handled, Penelope bid her friends goodbye and headed home, after relaxing for awhile, she was cornered by her parents who as usual began berating her. Penelope stood up for herself and they attempted to strike her for it. Penelope defended herself and beat her parents down, threatening them and telling them she wasn't going to let them hurt her anymore. After this, she went to sleep. Upon waking up in the morning, Penelope remarked on how she was happy finally and she felt safe in her own home. With life looking up, Penelope set out to enjoy the day.

She met up with Damon and hitched a ride with him to the mall where they ran into Jayce and Victoria. After chatting, they decided on seeing a movie. Penelope was delighted to go see a fun movie with actual friends and went along. While getting popcorn and drinks, Penelope noticed Matt's gang was there too but decided on seeing the movie anyway. During the middle of it, Penelope left to the bathroom and was attacked by the gang. The fight was offscreen but Penelope was the victor, taking Owen's mind reading at some point in the fight and terrifying the others into begging Damon for forgiveness for their cruel bullying. Not long after getting it, Penelope was able to read an usher's mind with only a few seconds of concentration, just to test out her new power. However, she seems to have become a bit crueler, laughing at the terrified thugs and remarking on Matt being mad at her when he finds out. After going clubbing with her friends, Penelope took it easy for awhile and began drawing up designs for a superhero costume. She has made a makeshift one out of clothing lying around the house, and has named herself Nemesis Woman. On her first night out, she stopped a purse snatcher. That same night, she met a man named Stefan, who takes care of birds along with his wife Sarah.

Adopting the title of Nemesis Woman, she has taken it upon herself to fight off a gang of thugs attacking the bank and despite difficulty's she has managed very well for herself and has beaten nearly all of them now. She is being watched by Alex and Richard Granger, who have been assigned by Sophia to watch over her and then recruit her to LION when the battle is over. After narrowly managing to beat most of the thugs Penelope found herself cornered by several men using plasma grenade launchers. Alex and Richard saved her by taking out the men. Confused but thankful that they were down for the count, she then headed up the stairs and encountered Jumpman. He attempted to bribe her but Penelope refused it and a fight began. Penelope was beaten bloody but so was Jumpman. In the end she won the fight when she managed to remove his mask and take his power. After kicking him across the room once more, she soon passed out from the fight.

Recovering at LION, Penelope talked to everyone there and made fast friends. She tearfully explained her home life and Mary had a talk with her parents, leaving them in tears without lifting a finger, and then had them arrested. It was decided that Alex and Anna would adopt her into their family both to give her a proper home and to train her powers. Penelope has notably been acting almost like a little kid when she is with them, and has been mimicking Elizabeth as they both prepared for the Princess's party.

When Alex dropped her off at school, Penelope was unprepared for the fame that came with it. After recovering, she began enjoying herself. Penelope showed off her powers to Damon and the others and they met at Damon's house where they explained what each of them had been going through in their lives and their powers. With Penelope being surprised that her and Damon's powers were so similar. Angel Enigma came to take them for training and Penelope is one of the few who got back up for another round.

Penelope, Victoria, Jayce and Damon have formed a Superhero Team of their own: Team Kick-A$$ and are preparing themselves for the future battle of the school seen in Jayce's vision. Recently, she encountered a misunderstood young villain going by the name of Bag Boy who, although he had created bags of holding, had been rejected when he presented his invention to his university professor. Penelope talked him down and even got him an arrangement with Victoria Knight. Penelope and Bag Boy parted as friends. Penelope sat out the battle with Godzilla but eagerly awaited any news from her new family and insisted on staying awake for when they came home. Later, she ran into another supervillain calling himself Bombardment. Bombardment was a typical supervillain who had come to Exodus City to kill the heroes and make a name for himself. After a back and forth battle, Penelope outsmarted him then zapped him from behind, taking Bombardment down. She then drained his power and gave LION a call to pick him up.

Power Theft:
The ability to steal the abilities of other evolved humans through physical contact, rendering them powerless. Requires skin contact.

Explosion Wave: By focusing, she can summon up an orange light around her arms and Penelope then punches forward with both arms, sending out an invisible energy wave that causes an explosion. The power of the explosion depends on how long she charges it for.
Super Toughness: A lesser form of invulnerability, this power greatly enhances Penelope's durability and can make her body more resistant to energy blasts, explosions, bullets, etc. They still hurt but they won't necessarily kill her, leaving bruises instead.
Super Jumping: Stolen from Jumpman. The power to jump great heights and to have super strong legs, doubles as a super kicking power.

Bio: An off and on enemy of the Protector's, though only technically. Where as Doctor Nemesis is a monster and Insidious is more nice, Paladia is an eccentric nut. This is the woman who will do insane things not out of outright evil, but for science. For reference, Paladia actually developed a serum that, for a brief amount of time, actually KILLED her, temporarily anyway, just so she could see what really happens after death. For Science. She captured a rampaging demon once and performed experiments on it. She has it's insides in jars. For science. She turned herself kaiju size and went for a walk. For Science. She considers these to be good ideas. The problem with Paladia is that occasionally things get out of control and the heroes have to help with damage control. To her credit, Paladia IS apologetic when this happens and isn't outright malicious, she just puts science first. Paladia has contributed to society and even made several breakthrough's, it just usually gets forgotten when about when her latest experiment is causing chaos.

Bio: A genetically created child of Paladia. Due to not wanting to bother with the painful complications of child birth Paladia decided why not create one through scientific means so that in the event of her death she would have someone to pass her scientific knowledge to. Using a mixture of her genes and another who, after some research, Paladia found suitable she created Paladia in a egg shaped chamber that she created through a few alien tech that she scavanged. Some mercenaries broke into Paladia's home once they were hired by a mysterious benefactor to take out Paladia and steal her creations. Paladia managed to take a few out but the leader and some that remained managed to get the drop on her, Adia broke out of her chamber and killed the remaining mercenaries in a effort to protect her mother. When she came to her senses she was devestated till Paladia managed to calm her down. As she did she had her dressed then she gave her a name, Aida. While some like Aida usually are treated more like a weapon she's treated as the opposite. Her mother doesn't cause her to go out and commit horrible acts, Aida has a sense of justice and would go out of her way to help people, Paladia also has a bit of a protective streak much to Aida's embarassment. She hangs out at the coffee shop where Sugar Rush works at, that is her favorite place to go to get coffee and has conversed with Sugar Rush whenever she is off work
