The only movies that i'm likely to watch in theaters this year are the Dark Knight Rises and the Hobbit. I'll watch the Avengers and GI Joe on DVD. No real rush for popcorn flicks.
    Recommended Comics:
    Star Wars: Dark Times,
Richard Stark's Parker by Darwyn Cooke,
Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye

That seems kind of ironic seeing as your a transformers fan...

I voted Avengers, but truthfully if it's like 10.7 on my excited-o-meter, the other two are 10.6 ad 10.5 respectively.

Hard to say which I'm the most excited for but it really does come down to Avengers or DKR. ASM might be okay but it's not something I'm itching to see like the others.

I'll probably see Avengers in the theater, but I agree. I'm really surprised DKR lost to it - I mean to each is his own, of course, but the Marvel movies have been fun blockbusters while imo the Nolan films are in another league. I'd imagine part of it has to do with the fact that so little has been shown from the Dark Knight Rises. Marvel/Disney is way better at working up the hype.

I'm sure I'll go see ASM, but frankly I'm still not sold on the whole reboot/origin story idea.

It's no surprise the batman flick lost.

A film like The Avengers has never been made before. Four iconic superheroes who have headlined films of their own brought together in one gigantic movie. It's an amazing feat that this film is actually happening.

I was on board at first, but Dark Knight lost me with the Anne Hathaway casting. I will go see it, but I will have very low expectations....not the excitement I had at seeing Ledger as The Joker.

Website polls don't really matter to me. I'm more interested in seeing how the BO plays out.

In the end that's all that will really matter.
Batman, GL, Miss Fury, Uncanny X-Men, Hypernaturals, Witch Doctor, Casanova, Green Arrow, COPRA. +A bunch of trades every month.

So far all the reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes really love Avengers. Seen all the video clips released so far. Oh, I definitely have to see this one!

Heres to what will hopefully be a legendary year for superhero films.
