Hopefully Sam Humphries writes a little more about the Children vs the People fight with Hickman but I doubt it looking at the previews he is more going forward with Divided we Fall and once Hickman leaves for certain I doubt there will be anything to do with the The Children vs the People arc. One of my theories was that The Children and The People just come with a truce. Both sides are heavily damaged and what's funny is that they really haven't even started fighting yet.

Not to mention he took a full blast from the Pheonix force and survived without a scratch. The problem is that this powers are inherently uncontrollable but considering this probably took place like what 5 years ago I would bet he has mastered his powers by now.

He's simply too much. He could literally blink and change the world in his image. He's God basically. Him and Jean. They could make the sky pink and make people think eating human shit is healthy if they wanted to. Seriously.

I would be perfectly happy if we never saw Magician again. He was a decent idea that just became ridiculous by the end of the arc. I'd rather see Geldoff take down Reed.

This. I couldn't believe Magician was even being discussed in the same sentence as Reed's awesomeness. I would boycott Hickman forever if he ended this whirlwind ride with "a wizard did it!!"

I agree that the Magician should not be the one to take down Reed but who else is going to take down Jean if she is or will be insane. Xorn I don't think is that powerful. Reed might be able too but why would he. I think it would be a neat arc Magician vs Jean Gray.

I wonder if Xorn is even aware of that nefarious Phoenix Force she has? Or even fully understands the extent of her abilities? Better question; could he stop her if need be? Could any body? Which is more powerful; the ability to manipulate reality or the ability to manipulate how people perceive reality?

Whatever happens with the Children, I hope the People stick around for a long time. I really love them. That whole society is so refreshing and interesting. There should be a mini on the Xorn/Zorn brothers fighting the (finally ultimized) Mandarin!

She doesn't have the Phoenix Force anymore. Granted, she's still extremely powerful, but she no longer has access to the fiery bird.
