The nukes hit the city pretty badly and Reed strikes back by sending a mutant to DC with a device that pretty much destroys all of Washington.

Shame the Zorn couldn't do something like that in the middle of the city. It would've solved this whole mess in one foul swoop.

Wow. I'm now very annoyed I can't get to my local store until tuesday. This looks huge.
So Washington is basically, gone?"Predictable? If there were any more plot twists going on, we'd need M. Night Shyamalan to randomly appear at the end saying 'What a twist' before vanishing". - Kurolegacy on Ult X-Men #8.
