DC animations best movies tend to involve Batman or the Justice League.
Wonder Woman was great, IMO. I never cared about the character until the flick came out. Great story(I like mythical/magic characters), intense action, and outstanding voice-acting. Much better than Year One, Doomsday, New Frontier, and Apocalypse(again, IMO).

okay, well agree to disagree. I found the villains lacking in Wonder Woman. Thoguht the plot was okay but could have been better. Can't say the movie changed my opinion about Wonder Woman at all.

I thought Batman Year One was phenomenal all around. Superman: Doomsday overall wasn't that good, but Superman's 10 minute fight with Doomsday was so epic it made the film for me, after that fight was over you might as well stop watching. Justice League: New Frontier was good, really love the emotional aspects and symbolism of the film, it omitted some things from the comic which I though could have made it an even stronger film. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse: straight up sucked, was just bad. Apocalypse and Public Enemies have to be the worst animated movies imo. Public Enemies just bad all around from the animation to voice acting to plot. Not worth the money.

My favorite DC animated films in no order:

    BAtman: Year One
    Batman: Mask of the Phantasm
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker
Justice League: Crisis on Earth 2
    Justice League: Doom
    Batman: Under the Red Hood
DC Showcase: Shazam, Green Arrow, Jonah Hex

This has potential to be better than the actual comic. Hopefully the entire universe isnt altered forever because of Barry's #$%!ing mom.

Well, we know for sure, the story will be modified for the audiovisual medium. What would you to exclude and what will you expand for a well done ADAPTATION?
For me, Pandora stays out, all the new 52 is strictly comic media bussiness.
ANd there would be more presence of Zoom, to show how powelful and dangerfull he is.

Well adaption wise, they have enough tie in series to fill fluff out that running time. Personally I don't think the new 52 will figure into it & instead focus more on raising awareness for Geoff John characters The Flash, Cyborg, Element Woman, and Shazam

True true. But I feel like parts of flashpoint was used to warm people up to certain concepts, i.e Cyborg being a major player now, Element woman's existence, shazam including a bigger cast of characters, all of which appears to be written in the dcnu by GJ.

I'm betting the powers are be are using a animated flashpoint to test the waters for a live action Flash movie

Good points. I do think this event also helped to puh Aquaman even more like Geoff Johns had plnned since he took over the character.

I mean 12 years ago people would have laughed at the notion of Aquaman going toe to toe with Wonder Woman. Now he and Atlantis and his supporting characters are very formidable.

I don't know if this event had a big impact on Wonder Woman, it gave her some exposure, and I liked the costume, but she was already well know. I guess it was away of showing how dangerous the Aamazons were. Even more than Amazons atacks. I mean the Amazons had basically conquered Europe and were expanding their kingdom in all directions. And Wonder Woman even put Captain Marvel down

It may be centered around the Flash, but it will be marketed as a JLA film. I also don't see it being 100% faithful, since the Pandora scenes don't tie into the story, but set up the DCNU. What will happen is that it will adapt the basic bullet points of the series with some of the tie-ins, but only in regards to the JLA itself. At the end, the scene with Barry and Bruce will probably have them in their normal costumes and not the new ones.

Here's my big question. If Flashpoint is going to be the next major DTV, what will the runtime be? IMO, these films are too short and in the case of Flashpoint which has so many things to potentially explore (what with it being an alternate universe), the standard run-time isn't going to be enough. Just my opinion though.
Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!

It's easy to fit Flashpoint into a 90-minute movie.

    ACT I:

    - Flash ends up in alternate universe Earth.
    - Barry meets Thomas Wayne, Cyborg, and Element Woman.

    ACT II:

    - Amazon/Atlantean War in the backdrop.
    - Barry assists The Resistance.
    - Enter Captain Thunder.

    ACT III:
    - Cyborg & Element Woman vs. Gorilla Grodd Army
    - Aquaman vs. Wonder Woman vs. Superman
    - Barry vs. Eobard
    - The End.

Not hard, the story is rather easy to throw into 90 mins. All the tie-ins don't need to be shown and doubt the animators will touch upon them.
