Oh my God. Either read the issue again and pay attention this time or take it to rumbles. No one here want s to explain what's clear on page to you.

I don't know how you can say that. Of the three panels where Red Hulk is owning Colossus he has the spikes in 2 out of 3 of them. The spikes only disappear when Colossus gets knocked the hell out. Regardless a character that freezes, whatever his motivation, when you make him angry is completely useless in a fight. That was clearly shown in this issue.

Had not he powered down, he would have destroyed Utopia with his bare hands, just because Cyttorak wanted him to. He actually allowed Red Hulk to punch him out to protect Utopia. He could have also finished trashing that rulk thingie and eat Utopia afterwards, but that seems somewhat wasteful.

I do understand Captain America's Plan. It makes the most sense. There are roster from both the Avengers and X-Men I like.

However, the way Captain America is handling this situation is just one of many reasons why I am choosing the X-Men over the Avengers.

    - Captain America knows so little about the PF and instead of consulting the people that dealt with the PF several times and trying to defuse a critical situation, he only makes it worse by marching into Utopia and trying to get things his way. Namor makes an excellent point about this in UXM #11

    - One of the Avenger's Roster was responsible for this entire mess the mutants are facing. Instead of bringing Wanda to some form of Justice, he says that "We stand together." crap. Now he wants to take a potential possibility the X-Men have to fix all this? I'm personally happy Scott didn't bend over and take it like a $%^ The X-Men went through 150,000+ Super Sentinels, Dark Avengers, and all of Vampire Kind trying to survive. If Steve AND Scott settled this more diplomatically, then yeah, they could focus more this threat instead of themselves.

    - The X-Men are such the underdogs here. Personal reason, I usually side with them

With the exception of UXM #11, its just really bad writing all over the place.

Go start a fan page for Collosus. Your opinion of what is "clearly on page" is nothing but wishful thinking and projection.

I'm saying that because the whole reason he ripped the helmet off was to power down as to not cause any more damage to Utopia. Don't just look at the pictures.

Now that would have been interesting! Colossus going on an indiscriminate rampage and requiring several characters to overwhelm him! This would have been in character and made sense for the plot. What is totally pointless is giving Collosus Juggernaut powers that if he ever uses he mentally freezes and shuts down. Why not leave Colossus alone if you are going to handicap the character so much? Getting Juggernaut powers hasn't helped Colossus win a single fight. It just gives him one more glaring weakness. Fantastic...

Don't judge a fight by what a character is thinking in their head. The pictures as you say are the reality and Colossus' viewpoint is what is subjective.

LOL. Pay attentions to the words this time. Maybe some adult can explain the ones that are too hard.

I find the press release to be stupid. Are mutants really going to win a PR battle against the Avengers? That would be such a drastic shift, that letter was just a declaration of war, something Cyclops already made when he shot Cap in the first place.

Yes, insulting somebody that has a different opinion is very mature of you. You sure showed me.

Red Hulk points to the damaged pillar and laughs. Colossus then states that he's worried about it snapping and rips off his armour. I'm pretty sure it's fair to judge from Colossus' viewpoint that he powered down. Seriously...there's nothing complicated about the words used in those panels or the clarity of the art.

No, we're just typing to each other using random letter combinations. I'm not actually typing with my hands but rolling my face on the keyboard. Somehow words come out. I'm just lucky I guess.

Seriously? You would have "everyone against Cyttorak" in the middle of AvX? That would be nonsensical. They have two pages for it, and the history delivered shows you who the character is and the elections he would make. And yes, having Cyttorak is a huge weak point, that is the whole point. Colossus has the god of destruction inside, and he is losing his grip over it. This one time he managed to stop but, the next one?. His fight is with himself and Cyttorak, Rulk was merely accesory. Or did you think the Juggernaut thing was just a power up?.
