Liz has always been one of my favorite indie female characters but there are just a lot of issues I'm still missing in regards to BPRD and Hellboy, so I was curious if there was any specific story that heavily focusses on her out there.

And weren't there a few "animated" trades done awhile back? If so, I may have to grab those because I really liked the animated Liz from the cartoons.

I think Liz's major story spanned The Hollow Earth,The Black Flame,The warning, and ended with The Black Goddess. It was basically a large scale exploration of her powers and where she fit into the universe.

Since then there have been two other really great Liz-centric stories that book end the giant arc: The Dead remembered which is a Liz's origin story of sorts and BPRD Hell on Earth: Monsters which sets up her place in the world post Black Goddess.

There are three animated trades but Liz is really only in the first one, The Black Wedding. She appears in at least one of the stand alone animated comics Phantom Limbs. This was included with the Hellboy Animated: Sword of Storms DVD.

Also, don't forget Hellboy: Weird Tales. Liz appears in issues 1 - "Big Top Hellboy" "Party Pooper", 3 - " Still Born", 4 - " The Dread Within", 6 - "Friday". Some are more prominent than others.

I'll have to check out Black Wedding, it sounds promising.

I only have one issue of the Black Goddess, I still need to get the rest.
