Please dont Kill Nick Fury!![]()
Top 10: Hawkguy, GIJoe Cobra, The Massive, Daredevil, Wonder Woman, Fury MAX, The Black Beetle, Batman, Winter Soldier, Suicide Squad, and The Activity.
They're asking me to buy this at this point, aren't they? €#%$! Coulson may be too good to pass up.
This just in: Chris Sprouse has pulled out of Orson Scott Card.
Hah! He really shaved his head AND grew the goatee. Hilarious.
Love they haven't scrapped the Super-Soldier costume. Steve should still be wearing it IMO. Love the introduction of Coulson, but wondering why this Fury has the credentials to be head of anything.
Also, let the fanboy gnashing of teeth begin.![]()

Why aren't you reading Winter Soldier? You should be!
OK........ WHAT THE F&&K!
ok white Nick Fury of this Universe! has a black Son! Marcus johnson whos eye was cut out also, and he is now a agent of sheild! and he looks exactly like the ultimate universe Nick fury
here are the questions
is Nick Furys mind going to be put in Marcus's Body?
why is marcus wearing Caps director of sheild outfit?
what the Hell?
If you want to have him "retire" or get kidnapped or whatever, that's fine, just don't off an insanely great character just to make the 616 comics kinda-sorta sync with the movie-verse, which is more mirrored off the Ultimate U than the 616 anyways. You know why this is an issue? BECAUSE YOU HAVE TWO ENTIRELY SEPARATE LINES OF BOOKS! That's why this could be confusing for new readers, Marvel. It's YOUR fault, not Nick Fury's, who's been an amazing character since the 60's and his current revival of sorts with Hickman makes him better than he's been in a looooong time.

Hey, that guy looks like that actor. :)
Coulson? Man, might have to pick this up.
If they were going to go that route, though, they wouldn't have gone to all the trouble of fleshing out Marcus' backstory, right? They could've just created some hackneyed excuse why Fury's brain needed transplanted into this other body, who just happens to look like Samuel Jackson. So I don't think this is it. Man this is infuriating. All in the name of "new readers". What % of all comic readership each month is new readership, BTW? Anyone know? What about previous movies? How much was this new reader jump after the first IM movie, or the Thor movie, etc... Was it a 15% jump? Or a < 1% jump?

RIP the real Nick Fury
Can't believe how hard Marvel is pushing this. Hope this character turns out to be a complete failure. (not Coulson, the other guy)

I don't mind this fake Fury IF they don't kill off the real deal, that would be a very bad move.
Fake Fury can appear in the Avengers and Nick could continue appering in titles like Winter Soldier.
Top 3: Batman, Wonder Woman, X-force
I actually think this has been handled very well. And I'm glad we have Agent Coulson in the Marvel Universe.
The monster saved them all. And in their fear, they betrayed him. As they always have. As they always will.
