Bishop had a reasonably understandable position on Hope, but he was black so his story was skewed toward unreasonable psycho instead of ridden on the fine line of "maybe he has a point." It was the classic "do you kill baby Hitler?" question and they fucked it off in favor mindless killing.

I wonder, however, if Hope and Cable showing up at the end of a nine issue arc doesn't in some way shed light on what may become of Hope toward the end of AvX.

So at the end of Dark Angel Saga, Psylocke leaves and joins up with the Extinction Team to investigate Tabula Rasa, before returning to the X-Cavern and seeing the AOA X-Men off. She is then immediately whisked away to Otherworld. Then in #24 she is still on Otherworld for Jamie's funeral.

When does she have time for the security team on Utopia?

It better be Bishop, or Stryfe. If Mystique, Weapon 3 Skinless Man, Sabertooth, AOA Blob, and The Omega Red people are on the team then they need a super heavy hitter for a leader. Both are qualified in spades!

Bishop makes sense, though, because I seem to recall Remender saying something in a previous interview about this leader of the new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants having found out about X-Force's existence somehow through prior interaction with the team and this being a retaliation of sorts. Well, that would make perfect sense in Bishop's case since Cyclops sent the previous X-Force team led by Wolverine into the future to kill him.

Oh, and Cable and Hope are going to appear in this. Whoo! I just hope that their appearance is in the here and now and not some flashback in Bishop's mind (assuming he's the mystery leader of the new Brotherhood).

Its Nine Issues and starts next month right? IMO, given current rate of double shipping not really that can wrap that up before AvX even ends. Besides Marvel can always just say it happened before AvX, continuity is loose.

IMO, that leaves Bishop and Stryfe as the most likely options. The only other people who encountered X-Force were pretty much irrelevant humans. I suppose it could also be Selene back in action so Bishop, Stryfe and Selene would be top choices.

It's plausible; although it would be sad to see Bishop become a full-on villain.
