What a boring and un-iconic cover to homage.

It should be Warbird covering Gambit's glowing eyes.

I now realize how much the colouring made Cassaday's covers awesome... Whoever coloured this... eh.

That is a pretty cool homage.

Wolverine's team doesn't seem as uniform as Cyclops' thought. There's a whole lot going on.

The coloring definitely throws this one off.

nice cover, what's Cassaday been up to? He must be storyboarding movies now or something to do with them.

The art isn't as crisp in the homage but the characters are infinitely better.

Laura Martin is a hard one to replace. She really made his artwork pop out.

Plus, he totally screws up Wolverine's eyes. And the lamer cast of characters(Warbird aside)

Should I make a new avatar or not? Cannot decide. But this team > original team.

    ... Huh?

    a) It's a pretty well-known cover.

    b) What else are they supposed to homage for the 50th issue? A different series?

I dig it. I'd buy that variant cover issue.

How does that work? Do I just hope MLCS carries the the variant cover issue? Or do I need to buy online?

Glad to see Mr. Cassaday back at Marvel. Even if it is just for a cover.
