Master Chief vs Predator

I am not all that familiar with the Halo mythos, but I have always wondered who would win: Master Chief or a Predator?

Assume that both combatants have their entire arsenal from the movies, comics, games, and books.

Round 1: standard arena/rules

Round 2: The Predator is stalking Master Chief in an abandoned city.

I think Master Chief pretty much slaughters the Predators as a species, especially in round 1, and even in round 2.

And as there's only 1 here, it's pretty much a stomp.

Yeah, that is true.
He wrecks them as a species just for the fun of it.
John is a rough fellow to find a good Rumble for.

Since you said you are unfamiliar with him...

Master Chief is a Class 5 Brick with Bullet-time reflexes and tanks missiles (not rockets, actual missiles) while at half-shields and gets a bloody lip from it.
His armor bounces fully auto-weapons, he can tank a shot from a Hunter with a fully charged, focused Fuel Rod and just gets staggered backwards, the shields drain but nothing more. By the way, those Fuel Rod Cannons are meant to take out vehicles and can melt through multiple feet of Titanium II (which is Titanium strengthened on a molecular level)...

And there are plenty more feats to go with those.

He can tank all of that easily? Is anything a challenge for him in his universe? It seems kind of boring if nothing can hurt him.

Vast numbers enemies with plasma weapons and/or Brute weapons exist, and are still a threat.
Dude is powerful but not unbeatable.
Tons of Spartans died. Mind you they are not as good as John, they are still extremely good and still had the same armor.

Plus there is The Flood.
Nasty things infect you and turn you into one of them.
They were powerful enough to force the Forerunners to wipe out the Galaxy to stop them and the Forerunners had better technology than Master Chief.
