    Default Lady Death The End?

Ok, I'm new and couldn't find what I'm looking for. To drag up an old subject, back in 98 and 99 the Chaos! run of Lady Death's issues had a little graphic stating "# months until the end". What does this mean? Is it referring to the Vampirella vs. Lady Death book? I know, I'm an uninformed new guy. Thanks for any help or info y'all can give!

Chaos! were building up to their own 4-issue Crisis-style crossover series, called Armageddon. The countdown was referring to how long until the crossover started.

So I take it you never read Evil Ernie or Purgatori? Shame on you.

The crossover was set to coincide with the new millennium (or the end of the World, as some people apparently thought) i.e. #1 was published January, 2000. All the books from Chaos had the countdown icon.

Ah. So now that makes sense. And I've started picking up all the Evil Ernie stuff. I've started buying up all the story lines that I didn't ever get the chance to read when they came out. I was only like 14 or 15 when they came out, so having income helps pick up all the stuff that I wasn't able to when they were new.
