If Marvel is serious about bring Cap into the modenr world they had better bring Sam Wilson into the fold. What better way to bring in a bigger demographic tha including a smart, inteligent man like the Falcon to the ix? What Hickman did with Same WIlson should be the template that next guy doin this movie should follows.

I'd be against including the Falcon in order to meet some racial quota. You limit creativity like that. If they can make a great story with him, then I'd be on board 100%. But if it's forced, his character would not be done justice.

If they go the Falcon route they would do well to go with Ultimate Falcon. I'm not much of a fan of 616 Falcon, but I think Ultimate Sam Wilson is fantastic

I'd love to have Sam, even without the wings. The character dynamic is what matters to me.

Of course, it seems Marvel is set on the Tony being Steve's best friend route, so you never know.

Falcon is a boring hero. I wouldn't mind seeing Ultimate Falcon in the movie. He seemed way more awesome than i've ever seen 616 falcon. How ulimtate falcon is so smart could be a good contrast to Cap. Not that cap was dumb but Ult falcon was a scientist if i remember correctly.

Seconded. A plot with Sam, Steve and the Winter Soldier would have a pretty potent trio of characters to play off each other. Cast Viggo Mortensen in the role of a slightly younger and significantly scarier Lukin (a meaner dude than the interesting but conflicted Brubaker creation).

Cap has to make a Sophie's Choice-style, er, choice between saving Sam or Bucky, decides to toss Bucky off a building, but Ultimate Sam didn't really need saving and flies by at the last minute and saves JBB's bacon once again.

Jack Munroe, trying to get some attention, jumps off same building and splatters, but nobody notices. After the credits roll, teaser scene of Sam Jackson trying to recruit Rick Jones for the sidekick initiative. ; )
